StarAstrologer - Books : The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The PC masses cringe at the ugly truth
This is a great book. In short, it shines light on a subject few know anything about. Those who would deny Islam's roots and history are bound to suffer the consequences. A well researched book, with many good comparisons between Islam and Christianity.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Start Here
This is perhaps the most concise and pithy introduction to Islam for Americans. I have only found one error. The author stated that Christianity was not spread by the sword when he ought to have said that it was not intended by its founder to be spread that way, unlike Islam.

This book presents an accurate picture of the basic beliefs and foundations of Islam, though there are many, many different sects with different interpretations of their own. I am acquainted with at least on which does not believe in forcing this religion upon others and seems very spiritually advanced. Never the less, the basics presented in this book are crucial for an accurate and useful understanding of the mindset and cultural differences faced by anyone who wants to understand how we can relate to the Islamic world and protect ourselves from those who desire world domination and use Islam to recruit cannon fodder.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - West - Wake Up!!
Finally, an unabashed and forthtelling perspective on Islam. While we in the West are comfortable and unassuming, a rising tide is coming our way called Islam. Over 80% of the world wide terrorism today is being committed by fanatics who use Islam as their justification and doorstop for hate, violence, and death. And you know, they are right. Just read the Koran. Take what has happened in India as an example. I applaud the writer and I wish more people, especially our Government, would wake up.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - An insightful read but not everything about it is correct
I enjoyed this book enormously. It was very insightful. It certainly changes our misconceptions regarding history and how things are connected. Although it is something that people are not used to hearing, it is necessary read, and has evidence to back up its claim. With the war on terror showing no signs of abating and as the terrorists strike all who are not in accord with their cause, this book not only provide an insight into the problem from a historical point of view, it also shows how easily Islam's distortion came about. This book changes many misconceptions. The idea of jihad is the center of it all, something that ought to be criticized or rejected for the world to be at peace.

A quote in The Union Moujik, says that the jihadists are the quasi-faithful. "they kill for the sake of reasoning, a reasoning that distorts faith..........they are even worst than the atheists who got lost in their noble intentions because they lacked faith.....Tomorrow you will find them slitting one another's throats. These quasi-faithful are the curse of our children's age." Overall, THE POLITICALY INCORRECT GUIDE TO ISLAM is a book to read.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Smithy's take
I was so gripped reading this book that I couldn't put it down.He exposes the fact that when we see our Presidents and Prime Ministers calling Islam "a religion of peace" that they don't know what they're talking about. The contrasts between Muhammad and Jesus in every chapter are very telling. The terrorists aren't fanatics but merely those who take their Qurans seriously and all non muslims should know it.I'm also glad that he sets the record straight about the crusades and Islamic expansionism. It's a very useful read and one I heartily recommend.
