Knowledgeably co-authored by astrology experts Douglas Bloch and Demetra George, Astrology For Yourself: How To Understand And Interpret Your Own Birth Chart is a basic introduction to understanding and interpreting a birth chart by applying the principles and metaphysical science of astrology. Authoritatively carrying readers through the interpretive perceptions involved in using astrology with birth charts, Astrology For Yourself provides a basic comprehension of talents, abilities, strengths, and how to express such attributes in life; offers an overall understanding of one's life meaning and purpose; reveals insights into life's challenges and how to transform them into opportunities; enables a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of a variety of important dimensions of particulars in life such as career and vocational needs, relationship needs, health, finances, and so much more. A welcome addition to personal Metaphysical Studies collections, Astrology For Yourself is very strongly recommended for all readers searching for a complete, comprehensive and thorough "do-it-yourself" guide their astrological studies with respect to interpreting their own birth chart.

I have not ever found a better astrology book for those people who simply want to understand their own chart. They don't want to wade knee deep through understanding the possible planet/sign/house/aspect combinations for the rest of the world. (or they don't want to dedicate the number of years it takes to become adept). This book can take them from zero understanding to a respect and deepened understanding of their own chart. It is also one of the best beginner books I have ever seen for those people who do want to begin a more dedicated study of astrology. Organized, well put together and in a logical and manageable order. I teach an intro to astrology course and am constantly asked which book I'd recommend for the students to delve into their own charts. This is the only one I've found out of a rather extensive personal library. Grab your copies while you're still able to find them or hope for a reprint on this amazing book. Intermediate students can also use it to further their depth of study.

I shopped and shopped for a book that would unravel the mysteries of astrology, and this book was my discovery! I've told all my friends about it, and they are now on their own quests for personal transformation.Do yourself a favor and use this book to learn the basics before trying to read some of the more advanced texts, It has a great overview of every planet, asteroid, sign, house, and aspect, and you'll learn how to identify and read them all like a pro.

Before I read this book, I had no real knowledge of Astrology. I thought it was just "Sun-signs" and did not have a clue about the rest. I was able to begin my journey into professional astrology from this easy to use and understand guide. Thank you Demetra and Douglas - for your wonderful contribution to my life and all others who have benefited from your wisdom and gifts. Sincerely, with peace and love, Becky/Thei
