I bought this as a mattress topper for a twenty year old guest bed that my daughter complains about. I'll probably never sleep on it so I won't attempt to compare it to my $1500 Tempurpedic. I picked this particular manufacturer because the dimensions for some competitor's products for "full" size were smaller and closer to a "twin" size.
