First new shaver I had in 10 years. I had the older version and enjoyed it.
Got this one and the first thing I noticed was that the power cord would not directly fit into the shaver. You will always need one of the two plastic recharger fixtures to work for you to recharge it. Both appear to be cheaply made and will warp such that soon I would expect to not be able to use them. I have tested many brands of electric shavers over the decades but I have stayed with Norelco because I prefer their design and performance. My present Norelco, about 5 years old, is still going strong but needs a new battery so I thought I'd try the Arcitec 1060. It looks very high-tech with its articulated heads, but the bottom line is it shaves no better than my old model. I actually shaved half my face with the Arcitec and the other half with my old one. I bought this thinking this work well, this was the second electric shaver I am using and I thought my beard was not very tough, especially with the razors and cream. However, I guess it is tough, as this shaver took forever to shave the easiest shaves. My neck would always have left over hair, which would mean that I would have to shave the way I normally did earlier with my razor and cream, so it does not make sense at all for me at least to buy this product and sadly, it does not work for me.

This is the first time i'm actually using an electric razor and I did review a lot before buying the Norelco 1050. Its quiet, lasts as long as specified and gives a pretty good shave to the face.
CONS: The shave to the neck is not that good and since I like to have a real clean shave I end up using my razor once in a while to finish the job!
Overall a decent product. ( I have used the shave for more than 20 days so this isnt a biased review )

Is there an electric razor that does not throw clippings all over your shirt, counter, etc??? when shaving dry? OK in the shower.
