This product has been a tremendous help for my partner. She ruptured her achilles tendon earlier this year and rehabilitation was eventually canceled. I developed heel pain from running and knew that I need to stretch my calf muscles. Although you can easily do so without the ProStretch, I can feel more of a stretch when I use this device. With practice I could probably do the same thing on my own, but I have a busy schedule and like that this device easily ensures a good stretch. I use it several times a day.

I started running distance events in 1971 and somewhere way back then I picked up a PROSTRETCH to help with stretching. Although my distance running days ended in the late 80's, over the years, like now as I write this review, I have had to return to using it regularly when I had over-stressed my arches.

This little doohickey is fantastic. I'm in my 30s and have fabulous shoes I haven't been wearing the past few months because of increasing pain in my left heel. The first few times I used this the pain actually was worse for the day, one time so much I wanted to hop around on one foot, but now it's been a week and I have SIGNIFICANT improvement in my pain. I'm even eyeing my red heels again. A few more weeks and I should be ready to wear them!
