I measured the Board and bought a cover based on the size. It fits very well, and looks nice on the board.

Bought this for an older but still good ironing board. Cover went on fairly easily and fits well, with almost no pulling/wrinkling at edges. The one problem area is at the rear of the board, where there is a slide out iron holder. That prevents the cover from going down all the way and keeps it from fitting perfectly. I think without that interference it would fit extremely well. Iron moves smoothly on cover and so far (a couple of weeks) it's held up well to ironing and spray starch.

Received it pretty quickly with Prime (Highly recommended, btw)...Fits very snugly onto the 54inch board and has a good surface as far as I can tell...Little bothersome that it has stayed a bit wrinkled out of it's packaging but perhaps that will improve over time...The silicone surface should work well for ironing and avoiding scorches but it's early.

I just got it last week and used it. It fit the ironing board. I bought one at a store and had to take it back as it did not fit the board. It was really great and it helped with the ironing because it stayed "warm" while ironing and helped with the other side. I am so glad I ordered 2 so i have one incase my cat decides to scratch it as she sleeps on the board!!! Would recommend it without a thought.

The way this cover is made it was a perfect fit for my 54" board as well as the good quality of the cover .
