I had to replace the batteries constantly, and we only used the scale once a day. Batteries would last a week or two tops

After reading all the other reviews we selected this one. If there is one weekness it is that it's an LCD display (large #) but not easy to read in a darker room. The one we used to have lighted up.
I'm guessing it is accurate as it's pretty consistent.

I did a good bit of research on scales to learn both what's important and not. I found exactly what I wanted with this purchase. It is stylish, which wasn't a priority but hey! why not? It is simple to use. People complained about how the accuracy. I used it to weigh myself several times in a row on my analog scale just to get an average. The scale is attractive and light. It's a little disconcerting to have to "tap" it to turn it on and calibrate it but you get used to this necessity. It's nice to have the tenth-of-a-pound display. Reproducibility is adequate.

I had a hard time figuring out how to measure body fat and bone content...but I think I've got it now. It was just as accurate as my previous scale.
