I've used bay rum for probably 35 years (taking time out for eating, of course), and have used maybe a dozen brands.
This, in my humble, subjective opinion, is the best. It has a 'tang', and a 'bite' that other brands don't have. Lasts longer on you as well. It also has a rather high level of menthol, although the scent is definatly NOT menthol....more like a spicy clove kinda thing. As an after shave, the cooling ability of this stuff is beyond compare. Since Royal Doulton products are so difficult to find, I am always excited to find one and especially at a low price. Its a favorite of some of the men in my family.

Lets get this out of the way: I'm an old guy (62). Using Bay Rum brings back instant memories of old time barbers slapping this stuff on my neck when they were done.
This IS expensive and I tried a cheaper brand ($19). My wife says no contest, it's like comparing a lexus to a yugo.
