As at least one other person has said, this is really a car drying system to replace hand drying. It is not a car wash system to replace hand soaping. The inclusion of the soap spray is really just so P&G can sell you car wash soap. They could have just as easily made this system a final-rinse-only device that you attach to your hose AFTER you wash and rinse the car. This was my 2nd Mr. Clean car wash. I live in Scottsdale, AZ and the first one didn't make it through the first summer in my garage. It gets pretty hot here and I think the gaskets and O rings melted; it leaked and wouldn't switch from soap to rinse.

I have had my Mr Clean system for over 6 months now. Living in Orlando FL, we get our daily afternoon thunderstorms throughout the summer. My clean car needs washed everyday after my commute home through the deluge. This product is ideal for my daily rewashes. However the instructions aren't detailed enough to expose the secrets to a "spotless" car.
1) Don't wash in direct sunlight and expect not to get spots. Early evening or shade is a major factor in reducing spotting.

This product was a total bust for me. I have a new, dark colored car and wanted to give it a try to see if it saved me from hand drying it to prevent spotting. It did not.
The special rinse at the end to stop the spotting stopped working in a few minutes, well before finishing the car. The cartridge turn brown showing is was expended in under 5 minutes--not the 10 car washes claimed.
