Having used many over the counter acid reducing medications with little to no relief, I was amazed at the relief Prisolec OTC actually offered. I now enjoy the affordability as well as relief Prisolec OTC continues to give me. This OTC medication for GERD & similar discomforts is an excellent alternative to higher priced perscription required meds.

Prilosec acid hearburn reducer is a one a day pill which works great to relieve your acid reflux symptoms. It was easy to use and caused no stomach problems. Unfortunately, after I stopped using it the symptoms returned. I was hoping to avoid going back on Nexium, but it looks like its not strong enough for me.
Overall, the product was easy to use, well-packaged, but a little pricey. 4 stars.

I have had a fairly good experience with Prilosec OTC. The first time I tried it my symptoms went away within the first 24 hours, and I could tell that it was working each day during the 14 day course. The prevention lasted for a number of weeks afterward, but eventually returned with slightly reduced symptoms. After the recommended 4 month gap between treatments I tried it again with good results.
