Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Prisolec OTC
Having used many over the counter acid reducing medications with little to no relief, I was amazed at the relief Prisolec OTC actually offered. I now enjoy the affordability as well as relief Prisolec OTC continues to give me. This OTC medication for GERD & similar discomforts is an excellent alternative to higher priced perscription required meds.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - refilling as usual
The best price I could find anywhere (including delivery to my front door).

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great, easy to use, works fine, not strong enough
Prilosec acid hearburn reducer is a one a day pill which works great to relieve your acid reflux symptoms. It was easy to use and caused no stomach problems. Unfortunately, after I stopped using it the symptoms returned. I was hoping to avoid going back on Nexium, but it looks like its not strong enough for me.

Overall, the product was easy to use, well-packaged, but a little pricey. 4 stars.

The prevention lasted for a number of weeks afterward, but eventually returned with slightly reduced symptoms. After the recommended 4 month gap between treatments I tried it again with good results. But this time I had faster recurrance of symptoms after ending the course. I have seen a doctor since, ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Prilosec (Omeprazole) Works - Period!

Stomach acid is strong stuff (pH of 1), and belongs in the stomach, not in the esophagus, where it can cause burning of the esophageal lining (hertburn). If this happens frequently, the esophagus can be badly damaged. Gastro-esophageal Reflex Disease (GERD)can also cause severe erosive damage to the teeth if stomach acid is burped into the mouth frequently. The tooth ... Read More
