This stuff is nice and slick. Having used astroglide, I'll say that ID is slightly thicker so it won't run as much. ID glide also feels "softer" since it is more viscous than Astroglide. ID is much MUCH better than KY since it lasts alot longer without getting tacky. After too many sexual outings in too short a period of time, I prefer the softness of ID (as does my female partner).
