If you have a long cycle, expect to use 20 sticks that first month since the machine starts you testing on day six and if you have not peaked by day fifteen it will ask you to test clear past your peak day and all the way to day twenty-five. Lesson learned after I had to buy another box of sticks to finish out month two when it started me testing on day eight. The Clear Blue Easy system was the fertility monitor recommended to us by several friends based on fast results (i.e. conceiving a child). We used it for the past 2 pregnancies and are now starting to try for our third pregnancy. It is very easy to use and both times it took 2 months to conceive. Like another reviewer, we also used it for a few months as insurance when we did not want to get pregnant. I purchased the test strip by mistake. It is MONITOR test strips, and the monitor costs about $120!!
