While Islam is not a race, the people who are singled out at airports for "special searches" are of Arab descent, have Arabic names, or wear turbans. Therefore, an attack on or a criticism of Islam in general is an attack on any Muslim, whether they are radical terrorists or they are moderates who are completely against the killing of innocent people under any circumstances. I am blazing through 'Stealth Jihad', witten by Robert Spencer. That guy hits the nail on the head. He puts in perfect words about the naiveté and futility of the now seemingly bi-partisan belief that we can negotiate ourselves into a state of coexistance with the imperialistic Islamic agenda. I just finished reading this through, and can state that Robert Spencer tells it as it is. He doen't overblow the issue or subject it to presumptions of "good intentions". He doesn't indulge in stereotyping or prejudices; instead, he chooses his words very carefully and is precise in identifying the perpetrators of what he calls "Stealth Jihad" against the West. Each chapter appears to be thoroughly researched and documented.
