I highly recommend this book which offers an in-depth understanding of Sufism. The book also gives further insight into the spiritual aspects of traditional Islam -- and today's world can certainly benefit from this greater understanding. In addition to broadening one's knowledge about Sufism, the book details suggestions that any seeker can use immediately in one's daily life.
