Editorial Review:
Product Description: Using a new language of energy based on the ancient “four elements” and in harmony with that used by the more advanced healing arts, renowned author Stephen Arroyo here explores how astrology as a language of energy can be astoundingly accurate and useful in illuminating individuals’ energy exchange in all close relationships. The preface, author’s note, introduction, and early chapters of Person-to-Person Astrology lay the groundwork for serious consideration of astrology as a significant discipline. The following chapters detail the influence of the four elements—Fire, Earth, Water, Air—on the 12 signs, with a particular emphasis on the rising sign (Ascendant). The author shows readers how to experiment by comparing birth charts, and explains, through detailed descriptions, people’s psychological motivations and needs based on the positions of their Moon, Venus, and Mars. Appendices include astrological definitions, keywords, and sign tables that allow readers quick access to the basics. Written in the author’s trademark clear, accessible style, Person-to-Person Astrology presents a new approach to finding fulfillment in any kind of relationship.

This book is not good for the simple reason that the early chapters are so full of hatred for women that it rivals some of the prominent early astrologers in poor advice and general unfairness to more than half the population. I think people in the astrological community need to look sexism in the face, and fast, before it becomes another unwanted association with astrology.
Arroyo claims that feminism has gone too fair and that we should not throw out the marriage model. The ... Read More

A review of PERSON-TO-PERSON ASTROLOGY by a professional counselor recently appeared in the Canadian publication The Astrological Guild Book Review. Unlike a couple of previous Amazon reviewers of this book, this woman (who holds a M.Ed. degree) has obviously read this important and stimulating new book carefully and open-mindedly. She notes that "this book was a very engaging read" and that Arroyo's approach "resonates with the energies that we are made up of and can be felt in everyday ... Read More

If you have heard or suspected that there might be some substantial truth in astrology, this is an excellent place for an open and intelligent mind to start.
Over the last 30 years, Stephen Arroyo has achieved widespread international recognition for his outstanding astrological writings. In his previous books he has explored the depth and complexity of modern psychological astrology in clear, accessible, entertaining language. However, this book is written more for the general reader and ... Read More

For a new book from my absolute favorite astrology author
I was quite disappointed .
No new insights, a lot of basic and retreaded information from his older books.
I still use all his older material on a regular basis and recommend them highly for their incredible insights into the human condition but this one is really not worth it for anyone who is already familiar with his work.

I'm a longtime fan of Mr. Arroyo's work and Person-to-Person Astrology to me is his Magnum Opus. I heard he had a new book out from a very perceptive review by Mary Plumb at [...] which really gives an excellent overview. I agree with her assessment that "this is a wise and wonderful book." It's very accessible for non-astrologers and yet it has so much to offer us perennial students of the subject.
I really enjoyed the beginning chapters. He's quite critical of our modern culture and observes ... Read More
