I own one of the first editions of this book from the early 90's and was really looking forward to this new one. It was really exciting at first to see how much bigger it was( I got the paperback) But there is hardly anything new and revised about it. There was actually a lot of things cut from it. Lists of dates were shortened, leaving big gaps of time and the list for future predictions only went ahead three years while past dates were completely illiminated, unlike the old list where ... If you want something simple to use as a party-game, then this might fit the bill. If you want something more, look elsewhere.
I don't think that this is a very good book for anyone who wants to learn about or progress with Chinese astrology. It's nothing more than a superficial glimpse of a complex and beautiful philosophy that will leave a real seeker disquieted and unfulfilled.
